the 'Tiba

Just a lil update... We have 8 more days here in Brazil... it feels like we just got here! Had our 2nd test of the summer... I received an 83. Not as amazing as my last 91. But hey, it'll do (donkey, tha'll do!) I passed. Haha. So we moved on to the next level and will only be having 5 more classes with the wonderful teachers at Berlitz. I will miss you Ana and Jou, if it weren't for the two of you my experience here would not have a) been the same and b) as amazing. You are two extraordinary people and will miss you so much. Sem supresa. The Grand Canyon is calling your name and you MUST come visit. You are always welcome wherever the Varty's are! Ok enough with the goodbyes, I am not even GONE yet.


Here's our last few days here in the 'TIBA... in foto format :)

Maria Flor Bar e Petiscaria - came here with Jou and his gf  to watch some fabulous musicians rock the joint. 

The band sang, "Sweet Child of Mine" and "Another Brick in the Wall" (some lovely rock and roll) and you could only tell what they were singing due to the tune, the lyrics were pretty much incomprehensible. So funny, but so fun. Thanks for taking us Jou!

Ana brought a new friend for us to meet :) O nome dele : Paulo!  Paulo speaks English too, lived in Philly for a while! Thanks for bringing more friends over Ana!
